There was a fire outbreak at Assumpta Cathedral, belonging to the Catholic Church in the city of Owerri, the Imo state capital. A Nigerian cleric, Pastor Alimi Victor of the Deeper Life Bible Church in Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State has been hacked to death, according to Daily Trust. The federal government has said the country cumulatively saved about N5.03trn from import reduction in four years, from 2017 to 2020.
