Nollywood Actor Charles Okacha Popularly known as Igwe 2pac has been spotted in a video clip facing off some Officers of the special Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). The actor was spotted alongside his popular hypeman. in this video , Okocha and his hypeman were heard arguing with the officers while they recorded the incident. According to the scene of the video, the special anti-robbery squad officers seemed to have threatened them.

Premium Times, a popular online newspaper, has sacked its Jos-based reporter, Mr. Andrew Ajijah, over a false story credited to Miyetti Allah on the mayhem in Plateau in which 100 people were killed. The management of Premium Times has also resolved to apologise to Mr. Danladi Ciroma, the North Central leader of the apex cattle breeders’ organisation over the story published on June 25. The story with the headline, “Killing of nearly 100 people in Plateau ‘retaliatory’ — Miyetti Allah’’ turned out to be false. The Premium Times had reported that the violence that erupted in 11 villages in some local governments was retaliation by the herders whose cattle were killed. Mr Ajijah’s report in Premium Times quoted Ciroma as saying: “These attacks are retaliatory. Early today pandemonium struck Onitsha Main market over the death of a trader. Though the story surrounding the man's death is cloudy, these are some facts about the death: 1. The man killed is known as Ndubisi Nwokolo. He is said to have an acquaintance to the native Onitsha people.  2. His killers are a gang under the leadership of a man called "Ikanda". Ikanda is said to be from Ebonyi State but runs "Onitsha South". He is said to be a top man within the MASSOB (Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra) and feared around Onitsha. 3. Mr. Nwokolo was killed as a result of a brawl for royalty to be paid to Ikanda. 4. The incident occurred at Bida Road, Main Market Onitsha.  5. Riots crippled down the largest market in West Africa. There was pandemonium earlier today after a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) was attacked and injured following a crisis rocking the party at Dunukofia Local Government Area in Anambra State. The deputy chairman of the Party, Mr. Emma Otika, had his head broken during the violent attacks.. According to reports, the violence was recorded at Awka when APGA Dunukofia Working Executive compromising of Local Government Executives and and all Fourteen Ward Executives went on protest march at APGA State Secretariat and Anambra State House of Assembly Complex Awka. Congratulations are in order of three Nigerians who were on Tuesday night, honoured by Queen Elizabeth faraway in the United Kingdom. The Nigerians:  Hauwa Ojeifo ,  Isaac Ezirim  and  Kennedy Ekezie-Joseph  were presented the prestigious Queen’s Young Leaders Award in a special ceremony at Buckingham Palace, London. A final year student of the Department of Theatre Arts, Imo State University, Blessing Amam, was found dead alongside her lover, identified as Emeka in her hostel in Umudagu-Mbieri, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the state on Monday June 25th,  According to reports, Blessing who was to graduate in August this year, slept in her hostel with her lover on Sunday and they were both found dead on Monday. A resident of the community where their hostel is located, said “The students came back from school and started inhaling very offensive smell and on inquiry, it was discovered that it was from Blessing Amam’s room. Her flat mates called her but she did not respond. The door was forcefully opened and behold, Blessing and her lover were found dead. There were blood stains and marks on their bodies. The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has accused Governor Ayodele Fayose and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission of plotting to compromise the July 14 governorship election. Fayemi, who raised the alarm through Kayode Fayemi Campaign Organisation, alleged that four officials of INEC were neck-deep in the new plot. Addressing journalists on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti, the Deputy Director-General (South) of KFCO, Bamidele Faparusi, said the INEC’s team was led by a former official, Ishaku Abbo, who he claimed had been living with the governor in the Government House since January. Mahmood Yakubu, chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has expressed worry about the low rate of collection of the newly-printed PVCs of new registrants across the country. Yakubu made the remark on Tuesday while responding to questions at the INEC/ Private Sector Forum organised by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). The INEC boss said it is worrisome that over seven million PVCs from the 2015 general election are yet to be claimed but more worrisome is the rate at which newly-registered voters are coming to claim the newly-printed PVCs. He said: “We are doing the best we can to ensure that registrants collect their cards but unfortunately many of these cards are still not collected.’’ On the ongoing continuous voter registration (CVR) exercise, Yakubu said 9.7 million Nigerians had so far registered and the number would increase.
