Goodluck Jonathan Campaigns For Atiku In Bayelsa

Image
Nigeria’s former President, Goodluck Jonathan, has described the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  Atiku Abubakar, as the best candidate that will take Nigeria out of its economic doldrums. He stated this at the  PDP presidential campaign rally in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital. Yenagoa was the second state to be visited by the PDP campaign train after Uyo in Akwa Ibom State. The Bayelsa rally saw not just the sea of heads that came to welcome the PDP presidential candidate but a heavy downpour that some say signifies blessings from above. The former President said politics is not a game of witch hunt of opposition but a game with the interest of the people at heart. The PDP presidential candidate, Abubakar, said it is time to correct the wrongs of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC,  in the interest of Nigerians. The National Chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus, said President Muhammad Buhari has turned himsel...

"As the head of security in the district, I will no longer allow any disco operators to conduct their businesses in the sub-county and anybody who defies the directive will be prosecuted. All disco halls in all sub counties must be closed because they are causing insecurity and redundancy among the youth,” he told the press.   In 2014, three Zimbabwean men were charged with murder after assaulting a DJ on Independence Day for playing ‘boring music’....

The life and death of Ahmed Hussein-Suale (Ghanaian Footballer) || GistOnlinesNg

Image
Hussein-Suale's first big story came in 2013 when he travelled with Anas to northern Ghana to expose witchdoctors behind the poisoning of children - often children with disabilities - believed to be possessed by evil spirits. In an elaborate sting typical of Tiger Eye's style, the team arranged for the witchdoctor's "concoction men" to visit a family home with a supposedly possessed child. While the concoction men were outside cooking their poison, the team swapped the infant for a prosthetic baby. When the men returned and took hold of the fake baby, police swooped. The film - Spirit Child - aired internationally on Al Jazeera. Hussein-Suale, then 24, impressed Anas with his pragmatism, not hesitating when it came to entering the witchdoctor's shrine. "The average African is spiritually afraid of traditions and gods," Anas said. "But Ahmed was always bold." His natural demeanour was the opposite. He was quiet and unass...

Everything You Need to know as a Publisher on Google adsense

Image
Over the years, Google Adsense has been bringing smiles to the face of online publishers by putting food on their table. Applying for adsense was ‘tough’, getting approved was ‘tougher’ but the ‘toughest’ was how to stay without being penalized or banned by Adsense. Imagine what it feels like for you not to receive your salary for about three months or imagine being fired by your boss for life. Feels bad right? Now, due to the strict rules and policies that some online publishers could not keep as they (the publishers) had no idea of some of these policies, people started looking for google adsense alternatives. At the end of the day, most of them usually come off to say they still prefer Google Adsense to any other ad network. Although some publishers did their best to keep t...
