An unidentified lady got more than she bargained for after was allegedly caught stealing from a shop she stole from the previous day. In the video which has gone viral online, the lady who was begging those who caught her in the act said “she was frustrated”. She also wasn’t clear on what happened to her mother and its correlation to the theft. One of those who apprehended her was however heard asking her why she didn’t go into “commercial sex like her mates”.

Popular Onitsha-based Prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere Odumeje has tendered unreserved apology to the people of Awka, Anambra state capital over hurtful statements he made in viral videos on their mode of worship. Imo SARS arrests murder suspect declared wanted in 2019 Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Imo State Police Command have apprehended a murder and robbery suspect, Chukwuemeka Nnane, 31, for alleged involvement in criminal activities. The suspect was in 2019 declared wanted by the command over a murder case. The state Commissioner of Police, Isaac Akinmoyede, said the suspect was arrested in the Oguta Local Government Area of the state. Anambra State Government has confirmed its first COVID-19 related death in the state. The deceased is a 66-year-old man who was among the 10 confirmed positive cases in the state. The State Governor, Willie Obiano made the announcement during a special broadcast on Monday. He noted that the victim did not report to the health authorities early enough. “People of Anambra, it is important to explain here that the only COVID-19 death we have recorded so far was a 66-year old man who did not report his ill-health on time. “The case was reported late to the hospital and by the time his result came back positive, 24 hours later, he had passed away.” Obiano also announced that there are 10 confirmed cases of the infection in the state, out of which three cases including the index case have recovered from treatment and discharged. The Kebbi State Government says it has received 83 additional Almajiris repatriated from Kano State. Malam Yahaya Sarki, the Special Adviser to Gov. Atiku Bagudu on Media, disclosed this in a statement in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday, NAN reports. Sarki said the children were received by the Chairman of the State’s Task Force on COVID-19, and also Commissioner for Health, Alhaji Jafar Mohammed, and his members on behalf of the Governor. United States President, Donald Trump said Thursday that he has sent 1,000 ventilators to Nigeria to help save lives from the COVID-19 pandemic, Tribune reports. Questioned on his claim of enough ventilators to share with other countries, after touring Ford Motor plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan, refitted to produce Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), he said: “We were just talking about we have a very big stockpile right now, and we building a bigger…we are helping a lot of other countries. A 40-year-old herbalist, Michael Itomu, and three others have been arrested in possession of fresh human hands in Idiroko, Ogun State. Other suspects arrested with Itomu, included Mathew Idosu, John Feyisetan and Samuel Adegbola. This followed an information received by policemen that they had been in contact with the herbalist for money rituals. The suspects had contacted somebody in Abeokuta who had promised to get the human hands for them at the rate of N1million. Preliminary investigation revealed that it was Mathew Idosu who contacted his family friend in Abeokuta who provided the hands alongside two others who are now at large.
